Robin Williams is dead aged 63. The actor and comedian battled alcohol and cocaine addiction for most of his adult life and was famously sober for 20 years after , Robin Williams has revealed how he succumbed to his demons again
His publicists released the following statement;
“Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
The actor who won an Oscar for his role in “Good Will Hunting” has started in various blockbuster movies. An “apparent suicide” is being cited as his cause of death.
